If you do not wish to travel with MVV services, your alternative would be the Ammersee taxi. Fitted with a wheelchair ramp, this taxi is suitable for disabled passengers and takes you directly to the pilgrimage church. We recommend booking in advance on 0163-3655195 with your time of arrival at the Tutzing suburban railway (“S-Bahn”) station.
You can be taken by car directly to the entrance of the pilgrimage church. The escape and rescue routes must be kept clear. Your escort must then take the vehicle to the free carpark at the foot of the Holy Mountain.
You can park your vehicle free of charge on the specially designated spaces below the Fürstentrakt (no. 11 on the orientation plan). From there you can easily reach the barrier free Bräustüberl tavern, and use the lift to enter the pilgrimage church.
From the Bräustüberl, you can comfortably reach the large beer terrace and the East Terrace with their magnificent panorama. Automatic doors in the Bräustüberl and the Wappensaal ensure that you can move around free of barriers. The spaces between the seats in the Bräustüberl allow you to access comfortably nearly every section. You can enter the disabled toilet from the Wappensaal. Another easily accessible disabled toilet can be found at the gate. Our service personnel (08152-376-261) will be pleased to assist you with any questions you may have.
